Stand-alone renewable power system scheduling for a green data center using integer linear programming

In light of the rapid growth data centers around world and their huge energy consumption, several researchers have focused on task scheduling resource allocation problem in order to minimize consumed by center. Other initiatives focus implementation green sources consumption fossil fuels emission CO $$_{2}$$ . As part ANR DATAZERO project (Pierson et al. IEEE Access 7, 2019. https://doi.org/10.1109/ACCESS.2019.2930368 ), research teams engaged efforts at defining main concepts a full center, powered only renewable energy. Achieving this goal necessitates efficient management an autonomous hybrid power system consisting solar panels, wind turbines, batteries, fuel cell systems. The purpose work is not show that stand-alone center economically viable, but rather feasible. This paper proposes set models based mixed integer linear programs capable managing commitment address demand. approach takes season weather forecasts into account time optimization.
